What is a Bodhisattva ? ...

This is my favorite concept in Buddhism Religion or Philosophy.

A Bodhisattva is a man or woman, capable to reach enlightenment, but with the vote of help and never quit, until the entire humankind, reach enlightenment.

There are several persons that are Bodhisattva, also today. The Biblical equivalent to the concept of Bodhisattva, are the 144,000 in the Bible.

Him Holiness, the Dalai Lama, is an example of Bodhisattva.

And, like the Dalai Lama comment: "there is no way that a Bodhisattva either would want to or could delay achieving full enlightenment".

In the past these people live in monastery, far from normal life. But, today they can live between the people. Look the Dalai Lama example.

If you don't know what is an enlightenment person, then consider someone that is in balance with any person, any animal and anything.

Jesus the Christ, was an enlightenment person and give the example. Buddha, leave their spouse and children, to start the path for illumination.

So, Just live and live in harmony.

People, generally see differences and enemies.

A Bodhisattva, is someone that also in the case of enlightenment, help others to reach the same state.

Additional information is available on the Web.
